The predominant focus of Freewheelin is designing and developing websites that market themselves through top online search rankings from services such as Google. Brochure/information websites
A Brochure/information website is the online equivalent of a printed company brochure containing all relevant information about your business. Typically comprising 5-10 pages that include a home page, information about who you are, services and products, testimonials and contact details. As opposed to a CMS website there is no functionality for the client to update the website themselves. It is usually the case that the client sends us any updates required via email, for example; a new project finished.
The Laminate floor fitter is a good example of a Brochure/information website. A recent website, in only 3 weeks the Laminate floor fitter is now ranking number 1 for their chosen keywords.
CMS websites
A Content Management System (CMS) is a system that helps clients manage the creation and delivery of content on their website. For example; updating their blog/news page, creating and updating latest work image galleries or simple text/content updates.
We use WordPress, the most popular content management system (CMS) on the web. If you can use Microsoft Word, then you can easily use WordPress to manage text/image updates and amendments at your convenience.
Freemasonry in Lincolnshire is a good example of a CMS website. They take full advantage of the CMS system, updating their blog on a daily basis. The site also incorporates a members area and a variety of web based software such as 3D flipbook and PDF reader.

We use three eCommerce platforms, dependent upon your needs and requirements:
- Woocommerce: This platform is a "bolt-on" to WordPress, basically their eCommerce plugin. It's very flexible and can be easily added to an existing WordPress website or can be built-in from scratch.
- Shopify: Shopify is a hosted platform, which means there is an immediate monthly cost. We tend to find customers who have created a Shopify account can struggle with the set-up. We can help with that!
- Opencart: This platform is a standalone open-source eCommerce platform. Everything you need to create, scale and run your eCommerce website.

If you require more than just a web presence then we understand the importance of your website being listed in Google and other search engines. This is why when we build your site we incorporate on-site search engine friendly elements. For those needing more than on-site optimisation we also offer full SEO packages, incorporating: off-site SEO, correct Google Account set-up and PPC (pay per click advertising)
For you to start seeing results from your new website, SEO/Optimisation should be considered in all aspects of the design and technical build of the site from the very outset.
